Ideal position for a newly registered RN

Are you professional, positive and passionate about delivering the very best care? Do you thrive in a supportive team environment?

We are very proud of our hospital, the community we partner with and our team of professional staff who collaborate to deliver Person Centered Care.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse Grade 2, to join our team and work with us to continue to improve the health and wellbeing of the Maldon community.  This position would be ideal for a new Registered Nurse, such as someone who has recently finished a Graduate year, or was unsuccessful in securing a Graduate year.  This position will give successful applicants exposure to a small rural health service, with the opportunity to work across the areas of Acute Care, Urgent Care, Residential Aged Care, and Community Programs such as District Nursing, in addition to various study day options.  This position will give successful applicants the skills, opportunity and experience to become leaders within a healthcare organisation.

Maldon Hospital is located in a picturesque setting part way up Mount Tarrangower. This location gives residents sitting in the front garden of the Hospital a panoramic view of the surrounding country. Since its humble beginnings as a small wooden building in 1859, Maldon Hospital has partnered with the community delivering health services and contributing to a happy and healthy community. Today it provides residential aged care facilities, acute care, urgent care and community services.

So if you value integrity, safety, positivity, professionalism and holistic service profession, hold current APHRA registration as a registered nurse and an understanding of NSQHS and Aged Care accreditation systems then we welcome your application.
