Community Services

Castlemaine Health provides a number of community services. The Adult Day Service provides Planned Activity Groups and Respite for Carers. The Community Rehabilitation Centre provides interdisciplinary rehabilitation services and community care to the shires of Mount Alexander, Macedon Ranges and Goldfields.   The District Nursing Service provides General District Nursing, Palliative Care and also Post Acute Care to patients across most of the catchment area of the local shire. Social Support is made up from women and men of all ages and backgrounds who wish to volunteer their time with Castlemaine Health. They assist individuals in maintaining their community connections through volunteer visits and support.
