Social Work and Counselling

The Social Worker at Castlemaine Health provide a range of services including advocacy, counselling and referral for hospital inpatients and community rehabilitation centre outpatients. Our Social Workers will assess your individual needs and develop a plan with you to help you work through issues of concern in your life. These may include:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Grief and Loss
  • Disability and Illness
  • Relationship Problems
  • Crisis Situations
  • Housing Matters
  • Ageing
  • Family Difficulties

Fees

$7.50 Pension/Healthcare Card holders

$12 Non pension/ Healthcare Card holders

Please discuss this with the intake worker if you believe the fees would stop you attending the service.
