Murray to Moyne

This year two teams, comprising 23 riders and support crew participated in the annual Murray to Moyne Cycle Relay raising money for Castlemaine Health. The ride aims at inspiring people who would not normally undertake such an experience to fulfil a major personal achievement. To enhance this aim, local businesses, members of the community, friends and staff members sponsor the riders in their fundraising efforts. As well as personal sponsorship, the teams organise a number of fundraising events including BBQ’s, raffle and a mail-out to the community. In 2011 riders raised a total of $26,780 which will be used to purchase Lifting Machines for the Hostels.
