Visitor Information

In a life-threatening situation you are advised to dial 000 for an ambulance.
Castlemaine Health does not have a resident medical officer. With the assistance of a voluntary roster of general practitioners, emergency care and medical assistance is provided when urgently required. For urgent medical assistance when your usual medical clinic is closed, you may come to the Accident & Emergency entrance at Castlemaine Health. Alternatively, for non urgent matters you can contact the Primary Care Clinic, 123 Arnold Street, Bendigo on Tel: (03) 5441 8622.

ATM’S.

There is no ATM facility at Castlemaine Health.

CAFE
Our Cafe is located on the south wing on level 3 and is open Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 3.30pm.  Visitors can purchase a cup of tea or coffee, snacks or a meal.

Meals or snacks may be purchased from the vending machines after hours and on weekends.

FLOWERS
Due to the risk of infection no potted plants are permitted in patients wards.

PARKING
Short term/drop off or pick up parking is available at the front of the health service.  Long term parking is available at the rear of the health service

SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted in or on the grounds at Castlemaine Health.

TOILETS
Visitors can access toilet facilities on all floors.

Wheelchair access toilets are available on all floors

VISITING HOURS
Visiting hours are from 2.00pm to 8.00pm.

VISITOR ACCOMMODATION
There are no accommodation facilities on site, however there is a caravan park near the health service with cabin accommodation.
