This Role

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Peri-operative nurses to join our Theatre Team on fixed term part time basis. We are interested in applications from Registered Nurses with experience and knowledge in Perioperative nursing and a commitment to best practice. The successful applicants will be required to work as a productive member of the team to provide Person Centred Care. The successful applicant/applicants will have a demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and be committed to providing high quality nursing services. To be successful you will have a current Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse registration with AHPRA. Recent experience in perioperative nursing and a good understanding of the role of a perioperative nurse, advanced interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should be able to demonstrate effective infection control practices and a commitment to quality improvement.

Our two operating theatres are equipped for minor and intermediate surgical procedures which enable us to provide a variety of specialty services including Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, General, ENT, Plastics & Reconstructive, Dental and Ophthalmology surgery.
