This Role

The Executive Director Clinical and Aged Care Services is a key member of an interdisciplinary team of executives who work together to develop innovative and sustainable ways to deliver high quality care to our community.  Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) the Executive Director is a trusted business partner to peer executives. The Executive Director will consult and work collaboratively with internal and external service providers, partners, stakeholders, staff and consumers to achieve service innovations and continuously improve practices.

The primary role of the Executive Director Clinical and Aged Care Services is to ensure the highest level of care is provided to patients, residents and clients at Dhelkaya Health.  This requires the delivery of evidence based, safe and effective clinical care and support.

As the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer the Executive Director demonstrates strong and inspirational leadership and ensures that clinical leadership is established and embedded across Dhelkaya Health.  This role is accountable for the maintenance of professional standards and professional development of nursing and midwifery staff ensuring best practice guidelines and person-centred care philosophies are followed.
