About the role
The primary objective of the Graduate Nurse Program is to develop and consolidate clinical skills acquired during the Diploma of Nursing course to provide best practice, evidence based, person-centred health care to consumers in a range of settings in a safe and competent manner as a developing Enrolled Nurse.
The Graduate Program is support for 6 months after which you gain permanent hours with Dhelkaya Health.
Dhelkaya Health are re-thinking our Enrolled Nurse Graduate Nursing program! At Dhelkaya Health we are offering an exciting 6-month program with ongoing employment. A strong focus on professional development and supporting graduates to develop skills and experience in areas of interest. With a dedicated CSN educator to support our Graduates, we will work with the successful candidates to develop a program to suit their expressed career interests. Starting with a comprehensive induction program, each graduate will participate in two 3-month rotations and have access to “tasters” of specialized supernumerary placements for four days in areas of your choice from the list below. Additionally, each candidate will be offered three study days during their program.
3-month rotations will be located in our rehabilitation ward, aged care and small rural.

Castlemaine and Maldon are located on Dja Dja Wurrung country in the Mount Alexander Shire. The area is renowned for its creativity, history and as host to the Castlemaine State Festival.
